"Give A Gift Away!" is an art project with six artists from Bremen and five groups from different countries. Each group works together with one artist. They communicate online, by email, phone or similar. Each participant sends an artwork as a gift to another person and receives a gift at the same time. A gift can be created in different art forms - such as dancing, sound making, writing, drawing... Participants film themselves unboxing the gift package and upload their unboxing video to our website. Network and artwork become visible.

MANUAL

You think up an artwork together with an artist. You work together online.

1.

Your artwork can be anything: a picture, sounds, a text, a dance...

2.

When you're done, gift wrap your artwork...

3.

... and then you send it by mail to another participant of the project and at the same time receive a piece of art as a gift yourself.

4.

Film the opening of your gift package as a selfie unboxing video.

5.

Lastly, upload your video to the "Give a Gift Away!" website and view others' videos. Network and artwork will become visible.
